Ares knew war. But he didn't know this.

On the back: the god of battle. Helmet off. Sword low. Sweat and iron. He thought he invented violence.

Then below him, words that split history in half:

"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword."

Matthew 10:34.

This isn't Ares' war anymore. This is something older. Something harder. A war inside the soul. A sword that cuts truth from lies, loyalty from betrayal, sheep from wolves.

The pagans had their gods of blood.
We have a King who came armed.

It is our duty to fight and bring our enemies to God. It is His duty to judge them.

We spill the sweat. We carry the sword. We drag the darkness kicking into the light.
Then we step back. And let Him decide.
